I’ve been taking part in the @inkygoodness Make Your Mark programme for artists and illustrators. We were set a series of mock briefs. Check out my designs below!
1. Los Bandidos Brief: Los Bandidos (The Bandits) is a small, independent Mexican restaurant, known for their unique blue corn tortilla chips, loaded taco’s, traditional Mexican staples and signature cocktails. A limited colour palette was supplied
We were asked to create a colourful mural for their flagship restaurant in London, and a collection of illustrated bags and boxes for their new delivery service.
After researching Mexican culture I was inspired to create a fun character based on the animal version of the masked bandit - a racoon! I designed a series of Mexican inspired icons and a font that fitted the overall design.
One of four mock project briefs set by Inkygoodness Collective, as part of their Make Your Mark 10-week programme for artists and illustrators.

2. Gardening For The Mind, Body and Soul Brief: Design an illustrated full colour book cover (front and back) for the home and lifestyle book Gardening for Mind, Body and Soul. Taking inspiration from the content of the book and text extract provided.
This was a super cool brief to work on as it encompassed my passion for creating those feel good vibes! It also gave me a taste for book illustration which is something I would love to explore
This was the second mock project brief set by Inkygoodness Collective, as part of their Make Your Mark 10-week programme for artists and illustrators.

I’ve been taking part in the @inkygoodness 28 day Editorial Illustration challenge for artists and illustrators. We were set a series of mock briefs. Check out my designs below!
Children's magazine feature on plants: we were asked to create a double page spread that could include a non fiction piece about plants, an activity or game. The magazine is aimed at the 6-12 age group for both boys and girls
I am a big lover of plants and their feel good qualities so wanted to convey this in a series of illustrations to highlight just how amazing they are for your physical and mental wellbeing. I also wanted to encourage the readers to get their own creative juices flowing so provided a step by step guide and scannable QR code that could link to a video tutorial.
